Only 3! They've tightened up production and have a new guy who is helping with finishing and they've been able to shrink wait times. I was pretty happy to hear that.

Neck will be roasted maple; mmmm....

Ooooh, I've never seen a roasted neck on a Lakie. Should be great!

Looks like I lied; neck is flame, not roasted. Leo was pretty gaga about it, so I'm looking forward to seeing photos.

    Sah-weet!

What's the fretboard of the first look like? They were suggesting straight maple as a contrast vs. the flame neck and to offset the MOP dots. I told them to do what they thought looked best.

Hi Si - I typoed on BEM, it was flame maple and Leo gave me an all-in-one price (I asked for a few things that were not standard like quilt top and MoP dots on fretboard), so hard to say how it was costed. Simple answer is if you want to add things to a new build, speaking with Leo helps out understanding what can and cannot be done. Having seen what it costs elsewhere, it wouldn't have been a massive cost addition.

No worries, mine's already spec'd and in the production queue.
I'm not too fussed about adding another cost, was just curious
I just specified a maple neck, so maybe I'll get lucky and it will have a lil somethin' somethin' about it haha

    Cheers
